| Highland Ice Ltd is
the sister company to Granite City Ice Ltd, in Aberdeen, North East
Scotland. Granite City Ice, established in 1998 is the North East of Scotland's leading supplier of flake ice to fishing vessels and processors. Its fully automated quayside factory has the storage capacity for over 200 tonnes of ice and can service customer's needs 24 hours a day. Having produced ice cubes on a small scale, Highland Ice Ltd was formed to allow the company to meet the demand from the wholesale, retail, foodservice and catering trades. Highland Ice occupies a purpose built factory at Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire, close to the source of the water which comes from Loch Lee in the Angus Glens. Highland Ice has its own refrigerated transport for Scottish deliveries and uses national carriers for other destinations. Cases are packed either 6 x 2kg or 12 x 1kg bags to a case. A pallet contains 56 cases. 28kg bags also available. Prices available on request. |
